Coach company and youth hostel said they were the best behaved group of children they had ever dealt with.
That's quite an accolade.
Late to bed and up early this morning. We are now homeward bound! J
Another very hot, but good concert. Lots of lovely comments from the locals. Chocolate shopping now in progress (why, in this temperature?). Hope you readers are not expecting any as a present!
Apparently the cave visit was 'fantastic'.
Evening entertainment tonight!?!?!?!
Last concert of the tour
Hot concert in Namur
Lost instrument case key...thank goodness for coach drivers!
Despite the sun and heat HCJB gave a superb concert. This was followed by a reception for the band hosted by the town Tourist Board. It is worth Googling the La Roche concert - the HCJB concert was featured on various local websites and has its own Facebook page etc. We were certainly treated as much awaited guests of the town. J
La Roche concert
Great fun - simulated lunar and anti-gravitational movement, space journeys, displays and exhibitions. Now for the shop! Lunch, then off to La Roche for a concert. J
Euro Space Centre
Large appreciative audiences and fantastic weather - plus we have celebrated with Belgians a British 1 & 2 in the Tour de France. Band are tired but having lots of fun and cashing in on the free drinks vouchers as a result of their excellent playing. En route now back to Mons for evening meal followed by quizzes and maybe a late evening run to McDonalds for the fussy eaters! Jock
